The fruits from banana prata are small, have a sweet and mildly acid flavor. It is ideal for fruit salad because the darkening of the pulp is slower. The fruit ripens naturally not being necessary the application of ethylene gas to force its ripening. Banana Prata is rich in carbohydrate that provides the energy to the body and potassium that helps the good work of the muscles. Because of it is easy to digests, it is a fruit ideal to consume at any time, before and/or after physical activities. The banana prata has three times more vitamin C and twice as more calcium than the Cavendish.
